Second Survey on Cyber Harassment of Teachers

Violence and harassment, and in particular cyber-harassment is a growing concern among ETUCE member organisations. Teachers' and school staff's occupational health and safety have always been for ETUCE key issues as schools need to be a safe environment for teaching and learning so as to provide high quality education.
In this context, ETUCE is carrying out a project on cyber-harassment under the title Teacher Trade Unions concerned about violence at school II – Cyber-Harassment and has conducted two surveys within this project. The first survey gathered information on whether and to what extent cyber-harassment is addressed in the countries of the ETUCE member unions. It was found that cyber-harassment is most often included in national teacher unions' general work on violence and harassment and to a less extent as a separate matter.
