Worker participation practices: a review of EU-OSHA case studies : literature review
U-OSHA publishes case studies of good practices to prevent workplace risks. The cases are analysed and effective worker participation consistently appears as a basic requirement for the successful identification of problems and implementation of practical solutions, regardless of the size or type of workplace or type of problem. Many of the cases describe how worker participation took place in practice and its role in introducing successful prevention measures. This research has looked to identify factors which have contributed to the London 2012 Olympic Park being delivered on time, on budget and with an exemplary health and safety record.
